Born in 1957 in Solothurn, Emanuel Probst studied business administration at the University of St. Gallen. His career began with an internship on Wall Street in New York, followed by roles in various industries. In 1985, he joined the Board of Directors at JURA Elektroapparate AG, where he took over operational management in 1991. Under his direction, the company concentrated its efforts and expanded into international markets. Probst transformed JURA from a traditional Swiss company into a global leader in automatic coffee machines, now operating in around 50 countries.
